PS3 "Crouch" Mutator Request

As some of you may know the ps3 version of ut3 does not allow you to crouch. It auto-crouches only in the areas where you'd need to duck to move forward.

Does anyone know if it'd be possible to have a mod add the ability to crouch, including the dampening of footsteps while crouching?
