Explenation:

The normal Avril has a Auto lock lazer... Disable that.
Make the missile follow the lazer, Something like the half-life 2 Rocket launcher.
For the people who don't know the half life rocket, look V ( Forward to 1.05 )

Also, if your pro modder. maby you can make the "boom" 2x bigger and 2x more damage.

Radius and Damage are really good tunes for AVril, but wth you want not to have a vehicle target locker since the UT3 vehicles are way too overpowered that you can't even appreciate fighting against them for a good, funny time before death? specially on PS3 with analog sticks? >_<

I believe something along the likes of what you are suggesting has been done by Runestorm, with their Hydra Rocket Launchers and Bazooka (from the Crucible and Ballistics Weapons Mods respectively). Although having recoil can be quite annoying when using the weapons ;S

Waarom wil je dat hebben? Zal de gameplay alleen maar lastiger maken.
It has no use to do this because there already exist an instant kill rocketlauncher. Plus it is practically non-functional because of it's difficulty to master.

This would be great...currently the avril auto-lock is just an annoying counter to annoyingly deadly vehicles. Having to at least aim it and stick with it for a minute would be cool.

It think it's more there because of the PS3. But it looks good more than the Raptor lock on, and the HL one is far more annoying, the UT2004 is better than that.
