Some maps have placeable spider mine traps, like the shaped charge, that you can pick up and drop where you want.

well ik that but i still think it would be fun to be able to lay your own mines with a gun instead of a vehicle

actually, if you plant a spider mine you can control where they go with the avril longbow. Thats what i was doing all yesterday destroying my enemies.

Can someone make a spidermine gun like in UT2k4 i hate that u can only get the mines from the nightshade... also with the spidermine gun can u make it so it can too control the mines from the nightshade mines
