[GOW] K1lla repliedit may also help to give it different names, depending on what version it is... e.g. DM-Obelisk_AlphaX, BetaX, RCX, whatever. don't give it a proper final name until you know your map is totally complete. not only will this be less confusing for you and anyone who downloads the map, you may not run into as many problems.

Did you try deleting the original published file? Normally, it will overwrite it.
Are you trying to publish the published version?

Cr4zy repliedAfter it crashes, check your log file
X:\Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame\Logs
Launch.log or Launch_2.log (it'll be the one updated last)
Usually info will sit near the end but so does a lot of useless info. If you can't understand or find anything, copy and paste the log into something like http://pastebin.com and I or maybe someone else will take a look and see if there is an obvious issue.

Odedge repliedOriginally posted by mudcrab View PostOne last problem that I think I'll solve eventually.
After saving it into the custom maps folder I get this message:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/57057925@N08/5446170168/
It can be played in UT3 but I can't open up it's LOD file because of this. Anyone know how to fix it?
The game ignores the unpublished version of your map. But this message will happen when you have more than 1 of the published map in your folders.

[GOW] K1lla repliedOriginally posted by xViperAKx View Postthe .ini file should be in your published maps folder when you go to my games> unreal tournament 3> utgame > published. I may be missing one level of hierarchy here.

anyway... if you can't find it you can create your own using notepad. just save it as DM-Obelisk.ini

[GOW] K1lla repliedthe ini will be created when the game is loaded (or you can copy and edit an existing one)
