    Use 32-bit or 24-bit Targa File for importing texture file into unreal editor?

    Which should I use 24-bit or 32-bit when I save a targa (.tga) file in photoshop to use for unreal editor?

    Use 32-bit if your texture has an alpha channel, 24-bit if it doesn't.

        Just a thought since I am still learning about custom textures and such. Assuming you don't need an alpha channel, is there a difference in using a 24 bit Targa vs a Bitmap file?

        I use a bitmap for non-alpha files.
