    My map lags

    Hi, I made a big WAR-Map, but now I can´t really play it. The Map lags wonderfully. It´s the same in the UED so I can´t finish it. I need two minutes only to select an actor. In the other maps everything is perfect only my map lags.

    What can I do?
    Please help me.

    Simple, Optimize, reduce the number of poly's in sight, reduce the texture density, reduce light density, reduce shader density, etc.

        Oh, thank you
        Its was better after this.

        But it wasn´t perfect. Yesterday I deleted all the "SceneCapture2DActor"s. And: no lags!!!!!

        But I need these actors. Why does my map lag with them?

            Stuff like that always cost ALOT of fps and is usually not worth it unless they are like the main part of the map or something like that. Especially if your map is a big one

              I need them to control a selfmade defencetower. If I can use them, I will place one in front of that tower and: I will be able to target the enemies.

              That would be a great special in my map

                why don't you just open the tower and place a window to target the enemies? that would cause much less lag, and make the map playable ^^what's a good map without anyone who plays it?
