    Character lighting

    Hi, Im trying to include an area of my map where players / bots will be in next to complete darkness. The prpoblem is all the bots in the editor and in game seem to have their own lighting so although the area of the map is pitch black you can see bots running around clear as day! Is it possible to remove this lighting??

    You'll need to do some coding to do it, you can either make a volume that turns the ambient light off, make a mutator to do it or if you were doing a TC mod you could have your own pawn class.
    Basically you need to find a way of setting the three AmbientGlow values in UTPawn to zero.

      Cool, the problem is I know nothing about coding so how do I actually make this volume which will turn off players / bots ambient lighting?
