How do I blend 2 completely different characters?

It's not as complicated as it sounds, but there's something in all honesty that I would like to do. Be sure not to jump to conclusions, but I found two really nice female models on the net that were free to use and modify. Each had distinguished features I liked and didn't. The model I like more has arms and legs that look like they came off an anorexic barbie doll, while the other has the arms and legs I want, but lacks a muscular torso to fit the limbs. How do I take certain parts from one of them and swap them to the other?

You could try splitting the arms off in your 3d modeling pakage and then importing the split piece into the other model. (Works in blender don't know about anything else though)
