Custom character shoulder pads - please answer fast!

kobra_k88 repliedOnly the shoulder pads need the specific RShoPad, and LShoPad names. That is why XShoPad is used in the ini. The other parts can be named pretty much anything you want.

I don't know wxactly how much I can get away with in regards to customizing my part names, but I'll just stick to what I'm told, since I have to go through and rename everything now.

Is it just the X-L-R that's inportant? My meshes already have an L and R in their names.

geodav repliedyou don't, they are loaded via sets in the ini file with XShoPad01, your meshes "MUST" be named with LShoPad01 & RShoPad01
check the UT3 epic character packages for examples

I'm making a character that has new shoulder pads, but I cannot find any code in the .ini file that distinguished the left on and the right one. WTF?!
How do I tell unreal which one is the right and which is the lefT?Tags: None
