    3ds Max 2009 to Unreal Engine

    I've made my first weapon for UT3, but I can't get it to correctly export. Using Actor X, I tell it what directory to save to, and what to name it, then click save mesh/refpose. It says "Unsmooth groups processing: [0] vertices added." I click ok, and it says, "Warning: No valid skin triangles digested (mesh may lack proper mapping or valid links)." I click ok, and it doesn't save. Even when I add a material it does the same thing. I'm not very experienced with 3ds Max, so any help you can give would be helpful, thanks.

    Do you have the mesh (and any dummy objects) selected when you're trying to export?
