    Custom Character's appear standard for Host

    Hi everyone
    I've been working on a few custom characters for a while and have got most of them working in single player. But when i play a multiplayer game all the custom characters appear as standard UT characters for the Host. The clients can see the custom content though.
    Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and if there is any information that you need to help me find the problem just let me know.
    Tutorials i have been using include Geodav's http://www.ut40k.planetunreal.gamespy.com/ and the character tutorial found at http://camink.com
    I have also noticed the same problem using characters i have downloaded from the make something unreal contest entries which makes me think it's not possible to have the Host seeing custom characters. Hopefully this isn't the case?

    This seems to be happening alot, Online and off. sometimes in Instant Action some people will look like "DemoGuy" Anyways. All i can figure is its something that has to do with patch 3 >.o

      Well i guess it is some comfort that it's not just me. Thanks for letting me know. Do you mean that there is a problem with patch 3 that causes this? Should i go back to patch 2?
      And if anyone has a working custom character that shows up for the host in multiplayer please let me know. I'm using the standard UT skeleton by the way.
