I'd say take the saturation a bit lower on the green. And add some other color to contrast a bit. And a bit of ambient light wouldn't hurt either. Or did you have that in mind already?

Yes of course, the lighting is fast made actually, but needs lot's of tweaks

Wow. It's been about two years since I've mapped for UT2004, and these looks amazing. Really makes me want to go out and buy ut3 right now, but that will have to wait a few months once my internship starts

Keep up the amazing work, everyone

Not sure about the grated windows yet. We'll see...

Will it be raining in that map? maybe you can make some rain or water, go through the grates for some added effects.

TheAgent: Hmm... I see that as possible. Right now I'm trying to get the first beta cooked, perhaps I'll try it for the second beta. Thanks for suggesting!

                EDIT:

Beta 1 of the CTF level shown here is available at the beta section. And two more screenies:

jayoplus: Got any more images? Any idea of a theme yet?

WoLvErInE: Looks neat. A bit GOWish in my opinion, but nothing bad in that.

I gave a try to make the water fit in the CTF level:

                      [shot]http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/5472/preview09mm8.jpg[/shot]

Suggestions to make it even better are welcome. Originally I wanted to use real time reflections, but perfomance became more important.

Also, who thinks I should add some grass near the water?

Looks nice the way it is! Did you try the real time reflections? You could always have the real time reflections for only high detail settings only. Also you can utilize the MaxUpdateDist and SceneLOD settings within the SceneCaptureReflectActor. Also depending on how noticeable the reflections on the water are you could set the fps of the reflections as low as 30.

Not sure how well grass would fit based on the theme and what I have already seen... you could always give it a go anyway.

Thanks for the comment. I'll see about the reflections once I get near the final release.

I just blocked out the map in the editor, and exported it as an .obj file.
It will have an industrial setting with the color scheme shown here. I may be making my meshes as needed.

                            Continuations of something CTF

Looks interesting. Some suggestions though, I think you should change some post-processing options cause right now it looks a bit flat. The skyline does not really go well against the water surface.
