hmm on the whole modeling thing if i make a cube that has 20 trillion* polygons and put it into UT3ED does it still have 20 trillion polygons or does UT3ED change it down to the minimum required witch would in this case be 6.

*no I would never make a cube with 20 trillion polygons this is just for example purposes.

EDIT: how do you get a map from sketch up into the editor?
Feel free to PM me the answer.

You need to download a td3 exporter plugin for skecthup and it has its limits.

20 trillion will crash the editor so would 20 million and 5 million....even 100,000 the maxumin amount for a single model without gettting artifacts on the model that you can import to UT3, is about 85,000 polys. you would have to lower the polys in the program u used and use a normal map texture to make it look like it has 20 trillion polys. UT models are maximun of bout 4-15,000 polys

Just to know N3oDoc, are you a professional level designer? Do you work on a gaming compagny?
                      If not, you should

As for that DM map canceled :

Any chance you will finish it one day?

And what about another collaboration between you and KaMi, like on DM-Lastcrusader2k4, this comunity needs work like that

Hey Sebastien-Nova, I'm not a professional level designer yet, I'm looking for a job at the moment while I finish my studies.

That DM map was a experiment while I was learning how to use Softimage XSI in a 3D school.
Didn't like how the map looks and plays so I cancelled the project :P, dunno if some day I will finish it, that map would need a lot of work...
I'm thinking of making a remake of my map DM-Cityzen(UT99) :

But dunno If I would have time for that.

About making a remake of Lastcruader2k4....mmm maybe for MSUC phase4 :P although I don't see kami much interested xD
