Hey, i just downloaded the trial version of 3d Max to get started in the 3d modeling world. Unfortunely the trial is only available for 30 days, but i think it would be enough for learning the basic and exporting something successfully to the UnrealEd.
I got my first static mesh on UnrealEd successfully (a simple cube btw, couldn't get anything more complex at the time), but i still have some questions regarding this process. I Would appreciate some help from the experienced 3d modelers.
1. Is there a way i can make the grid size the same as UnrealEd? so that i can make static somewhat the size i want
2.Could someone explain to me or throw me some links about the workflow, from creating the static mesh, texturing it properly, and exporting everything into Ued for the final result?
Thanks
And also, correct my mispellings, because english is not my language.
