    Question about rigging for UT3

    Let me just start out by saying I know how to rig that's not the prob

    what I don't know is what Bones UT3 wants me to rig with what ?


    this it how I have been doing it..

      looks ok to me, but it depend on what type of character your doing in_game player or cine

      if your using the UT3 rig then don't use the biped(bip) named bones

        well why I ask is win I get the player in-game it crumples up like a crushed tin can

        looks Okay in the preview but, in-game it's all jacked up.


        Meah ..

        Could that be cuz some of the bones stick outside the mesh/skin ?

          ok you haven't mentioned which software your using which is why i thought you where using 3ds max with the UT3 rigs, make sure you also have the IK parts

          this might not be the problem

          also check the translation/orintation of the mesh

            yeah I use 3Ds MAX 9 BTW

            & I deleted the IK actors

            I'll add them & see if that fixes the prob
