Trouble with Widget?

and actually i did check that selection button which prevents use of the widget -- that was not the problem . . .

Solved. The problem was that the grid size was set at unreasonable dimensions.

I assume you meant "unable" instead of "able"? Try clicking the button that looks like a cursor in the toolbar just before the transformation widget buttons. It might have gotten toggled on by accident.

I am new to Unreal Editor, so please humor me --
I seem to have changed some setting inappropriately, because I have suddenly become unable to adjust size, rotation, position of objects using the widget. Although I can select the arms of a widget, they will not move. This was working fine before . . .
Any clue what I did wrong??
