    Converting .max files

I need someone willing to download a few (about 3'ish) meshes and convert them for Unreal Ed.

This is one of them http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPrevie....cfm/ID/304618

Tried with Blender but it says it's missing a file, this was also tried with another mesh but failed. My friend also tried in his demo of 3dmax.

nice model but i think at 12,000 polys it might be a bit much for a static mesh, tell me which others you want and what format and i#ll see what i can do

Dam, is there no way to decrease them? That was a nice FREE model you see ^_^

Anyway here are the other models:

http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPrevie....cfm/ID/243612 (this one doesn't state its polygons though)

      http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/...d-model/321224 )oooff maybe not, it's 20,000 polygons!)

I plan to have 2 of these in my level.

Two of these are gmax files . . . can't help you there.
        The other files are 3dsmax
If you want just the .ASE files, that isn't hard however, they are not setup for UT3 import. They don't have material slots. Probably take some time to set them up, maybe 5 minutes, maybe 5 hours depending . . .
Also, if you were willing to lose some detail, there is an optimize function in 3dsmax that can reduce the number of polys (again, at the expense of detail).

To be honest, I am much too new at 3dsmax to do this. I am still learning certain functions that I have a feeling are needed to make these look decent in UT3.
