    For maya, I'll say make sure you create the root joint first and make sure the translation is at 0,0,0

    When rigging for a game you need to have only the FK chain on export. With Maya you can rigg your skeletal hierarchy with whatever controller objects you want and then bake out the keys to the joints.

    Rigging for UT3..

    I am following this tutorial :

    and he seem to skip over the rigging part of the process. I was wondering how to rig a model for games, I only rigged for animation before(IK+FK bunch of expressions and driven keys) and I don't know if that will work. I can't find much on Google, and I use Maya so it's harder to find tuts for.

    Wondering if anyone uses Maya to make mods that has a tutorial, or at least show me how simple/complex a rig needs to be for games.
