Looking for Tutorial on Custom Chars.

Hi, as thread name says im looking for a tutorial (+100 internets for video) on making a custom character tutorial from scratch....like setting up the bones and everything in 3dsmax.

I have tried over at 3d-palace.com but their codec is messed up.

There codec is not messed up. I downloaded them myself and they played good on my standard WMP. Be sure to use firefox on that site cus I had problems with the cue once. Iff you have them already just download their codec (they work fine beleive me)

Allready had this debate over at their site and trust me, i have tried every codec out there and every player. Do you have any other tutorials ?

for the moment i can only offer written tutorials, which most people can follow, you don't have to set up the bones it's all there in the rig (male,female,krall) just chose the one most suited to your character.

if your problem is more towards UT3 import/setup then take a few minutes to explain where you need the help

Know any tutorials about rigging the meshes to the UT3 skeleton?

I got a couple of models already made that I wanna convert to UT3 but I have very little time and I can't find one tutorial that isn't too confusing

use the skin modifer, not easy but its the way its done, have a look at the site i mentioned above it has a nice little video on skinning
