How many static meshes is too much?

    37MB may or may not be an issue, the PS3 has 256MB of video memory, I don't know what the maximum pool size is for UE3 on that platform.
    However, select CSG Surfaces and set the Lightmap resolution value larger ie. adjust 8's to 16's etc., select StaticMeshes and use the Lightmap Override to lower the texture size ie. drop 128's down to 64's. But you should examine the map and do this optimally, eg. set unused/hidden CSG surfaces to unlit, etc.
