    Object Movement origins

Whenever I'm moving ANYTHING, my widget is set off of the object and moderately far away. How do I fix this? It is killing me. I right click on the objects and click Pivot -> Reset, but that does nothing. I have to use Pivot -> Move here.

How do I make it so that the default is to be centered on the object?

For static meshes, the pivot point is set - usually very close to or inside the object. You can change it by going into the object's properties > StaticMeshComponent > PrimitiveComponent > Movement

For BSP, when you first generate the brush the pivot is centred. When you move the object in vertex editing mode (maybe some other modes other can then simple camera mode) the pivot does not move with the brush.

Thank you soooo much. It turns out that I had just become accustomed to editing my builder brush into various shapes and not taking note of the pivot point. Thanks.
