    Change Taunts

Hi there I'm throwing a lan party soon, and me and my friends always wanted to create our own Taunts just for fun. I tried to import a Wav in the unreal editor but it says import failed. Can someone help me with that?

    Thank you.

    This is from Hourences site.

Importing sound is really simple. Sounds must be wav files, and must be 16 bit stereo. The frequency doesn't really matter but 22k Hz could be considered standard. UnrealEd does not like files with spaces in so be careful with those.

Yes I read that post. Very interesting but gives you a way to import sounds for new or customs levels. What I would like is Taunts themselves on a character. I was not able to find that.

Read that. seems no good for me. This to add sounds in a custom level. I would like to change the characters themselves.

Well your post said you tried to import a wav file and it failed. You didn't ask if anybody knew how to change the character taunts.

Well, considering that the voicepacks are set to the specific families, just check UTFamilyInfo_TwinSouls_Male.uc as an example, we will probably have to wait until patch1.2 if we're lucky. That's not to say that you couldn't do a custom voicepack, but getting it set to one of the original characters is unfeasible, if not impossible at this point in time.
Of course I haven't tried this, and would be pleased if someone proved me wrong, but I don't think I am.
Something I just thought of. If you used the original sounds but picked some from each character and put it into a custom voicepack, so some from krall, twinsouls male, robots, etc, this might be a proof of concept to see if it worked before trying to import custom sounds then doing it. If it doesn't work this way, then it probably won't work with custom sounds either.
