Rain rain go away come again in a less polygonal way

    Hi guys,

Been working on my rain recently and love the results except for when the static mesh collide with the terrain. The polygons seem too visible on the ground and are causing straight lines on my terrain. I have tried a few solutions but the only one that seemed to help was over lighting the scene. If anyone has any solutions I could try out it would be great!

    Cheers Guys

Drag the meshes up so they don't intersect the terrain

    or

Modify the material by placing a DepthBiasedAlpha expression, connecting the link which currently connects to the Opacity channel to the Alpha link of the DepthBiasedAlpha expression, and then connecting the output of the DepthBiasedAlpha expression to the Opacity channel. This will cause the material to fade away when it intersects something. You can play with the BiasScale setting to adjust the fading.

      Thanks heaps,
Now I just need to adjust the bias for the effect I'm after.
