I get all these weird artifacts even after baking.

Please tell me how you guys make realtime reflecting water.

Any idea how this works for a cubemap reflection? I'm using a Camera Vector connected to a cubemap texture sample. When adding that distortion technique of your's, it just tells me that "coercion failed" and some odd numbers after it. Although it adds a MTDL 1 notice to the material, so it somehow tries to apply the distortion...

When I mask only either R or G in both, I get something which is just a mess of colors and nothing definite. :/

          What? :S

To add to my previous post:

I managed to get some distortion to the surface with a Reflection Vector + Cubemap, and then adding the distortion to the normal map connector. This is how Epic Games has done on a few water materials. But now the cubemap is displayed in an odd angle, and I'm not sure how to get it rotated to the proper position again, presumably by multiplying the Reflection Vector with something? Any pointers?

          EDIT:

And editing the normal map values (which create the distortion in essence) also changes how the cubemap is oriented. This seems quite difficult...

Bump, any help here (considering the odd rotation of the cubemap)?

I'm trying to make a window using this actor.. Do i need to apply the material to a pane like i would with any other window, or do i just use the actor itself? it doesn't seem to hide in game like the cubemap one.
