    LightWave lwo to ase

    Guys and gals,

Anyone here using something to convert .lwo to .ase?

All my archived models from past projects I did in LightWave, .lwo format which the new ued doesn't support for importing.

    Thanks in advance.

there's a program I've used in the past to convert .LWO (among other formats) to .max and .3ds called AccuTrans 3D, can find it here: http://www.micromouse.ca/

I know you can convert/import 3ds/max... dunno if it helps any.

One note, any double-sided polys will become single-sided, rarely some polys will get flipped (really rare though), and most models will lose all UV texture maps... So you'll probably have to re-texture it once converted.
