    Unreal Editor Static Mesh Package Import Steps

    Can someone give me the rundown on importing static meshes into a package(s) and what to modify in the mesh properties, etc. For example how to add mesh collision (many options what do they mean?) and how to add from existing UT3 or custom textures.

    Also I've read when you save a map it will automatically create a new package with the same name as the level, sort of as a replacement for the mylevel thing of the past. But can you save packages as their own name independently so you can re-use custom meshes from map to map and you can with the game's UT3 ones? And after you publish/cook your map how to you distribute you map/package for others and how do you install a custom map w/custom package content?

    All this new stuff seems way harder than the pre-UT2004 days. It's sort of overwhelming but I'm trying to learn it bit by bit!
