    Brushes into 3Dapp

    Is there any way of exporting out brushes into a 3d format. I want to block out my map in unreal Ed to make sure it plays ok with just basic geometry then bring this into Maya to use as a guide for making my static meshes.
    I did try exporting as .obj but I just ended up with an empty file there may be something I am missing

    funny. im doing the same thing.. just in reverse. Blocking out in Maya, exporting ase to be used as brushes to block out my level in UED.

    I've had no luck exporting from UED either. Empty obj file.

      I eventually managed to get this to work jsut by making sure nothing is selected then exporting all. I would normally do it the other way round but I wanted to make sure the map wasn't to big for what I want doing it this way it is much quicker to tweak and test
