    Just took this for a blast ... sweet nostalgia.

    This map brings back so many memories playing it with my friend in clan tournaments, who has just passed away , so it comes at the right time for me.

    Thanks for your time and effert on this Axeman.

      Thanks, VoodooFox. I'm sorry about your friend...glad this map could brighten your day. I definitely remember playing this in clan matches as well. Miss those days. Loved this map!

            I have tried a few times now to cook your map but without success. I´m not sure why that is because I have cooked maps earlier without problems. Did you use any special/custom contents when creating your map?

              I imported a few custom meshes/textures, but they are saved within the map- no external packages.

                Finally got around to giving this a whirl.
                It’s a fine map Axeman. Bots play it well (they do love that Nuke) I find them in all sorts of unlikely places on the map so play is less predictable and imo that adds to the fun.
                The map looks nice, scale is good and seems to be very well made. What more could one ask for.

                      Thanks for the kudos. I've got two more in the works (Crane and Zeto) and am trying to come up with an original duel layout.
                      I'm thinking of making the Zeto map out of 100% bsp. See how many issues I'll run into with all the curved/complex brushwork there which was easier in earlier versions of UED, but near impossible now.

                      Hopefully I'll have more maps to come!

                              100% BSP... I don't think you can do that without getting BSP holes -as long as they don't kill you I don't see them as annoying It's always fun to walk through the map and then you notice one and you're like "EFF, YEAH! I love that HoM effect! " ... but that might be just me (because I'm a mapper) - but of course I wish you good luck! What about the outside areas? In the original it was one area where this single hallway was located (you could see it from the outside and from the other windows) which has also been used as a skybox for the other areas (I guess to relieve the BSP tree). That's not possible anymore. Are you going to make them out of BSP as well or are you going to use some cliff static meshes and the terrain actor for it? What about the snow? Will you create a material and place a few sheets in front of the window and scattered all around the outside area like back then (which made it possible to have "thick" snowfall in UE1 without using particles which probably would have killed PCs at that time) or are you going to make a weater effect (is it still called like that) just as in all the other outdoor maps, e.g. Downtown?

                              PS: Sorry for all these questions. Am just curious
