    Description:

    - Dreaming Ruins -

    This map is my first serious project fur Unreal Tournament 3 called 'Dreaming Ruins'. It is a quite big VCTF-map
    for up to 32 players, so please give it sime time to load all the textures for the best performance.
    You need patches 1 - 5 and the Titan Pack to play this map . I hope you enjoy it!

    Also, a DeathMatch Version is available, for those of you who just like to frag without worrying about a flag (will be uploaded soon)

    map description:

    During the Krall invasion, also some beautiful castles suffered from the attacks.
    This one was built centuries ago, and since then, new architecture has changed the style of the castle.
    Now the Krall are attacking. Fortunatly, they haven't found the secret room yet, which provides ... well, a secret!
    Additionally, the castle has many sniping positions, that can be very helpful for you. There are several
    tactical weapons placed all over the map, like energy shields and powerups. You should take advantage of
    the Goliath, to control the northern part of the castle and thus have an escape route for the flag carrier.
    In the southern part, a stealthbender can be found. But be careful! If you choose to leave the castle,
    there is the chance that you get discovered and blasted by an orbital ion cannon...

    I was able to get 2 of the 5 screens to load and received this message



    for the others, i'd suggest to embed some of the shots in your initial post rather than forcing people to follow a link to view them.

    Looking good from what i was able to see, gonna test this later (got ya a bump for now anyway)

      And I've put it in Stevelois's VCTF and WAR maps thread.
      I gotta ask you this. Why did you put a darkwalker out in the middle of nowhere?
      It's an amazing map. There are lots of odd things about it, such as it being almost impossible to drive from one part of the map to another. And the way the bots use the tank.
      But, i really like the map. Not many maps of this sort of scale give a decent fps but you seem to have managed it.

        I have no idea though, why the screens don't work...
        And the darkwalker is there, because I wanted it to be a fun map with little things to discover^^
        and thx for the bump xD
        I am still waiting for the review of my map at UT Unlimited anyway^^

            Yeah, we had a pretty big surge of submissions over the week before you submitted your final, which I'm happy about, though it might be a little bit yet. Don't worry, I'll let ya know whenever I've got it posted up.

                Yes, unfortunatly the bots don't keep to the path nodes, instead they sometimes try to drive through walls xD
                But I guess it doesn't hurt the gameplay too much
