        this map is pure asskick! and the final run like a charm even on middle class computers with no fps problems....with such a level of details & lighting , u did really a "pro" job

        u was right to keep ur lighting idea when others told you it was "too dark" ...it s not too dark ,it just perfectly contrasted and the mix lighting/contrasts/detailed meshing gives to the map a very unique look

        10/10...congratz

            Well mate, I'm happy you like it that much.

            Well, I did try some combination of lighting, still after many... many... testing, I return on my first settings even when others mappers more talented then me was saying it was to dark. I did made some changes, but it's veeeeeeeery thin. The overall lighting & colors hasn't change at all but the posted pics look darker that the real thing. The fact I played more with the heightfog as helped a lot to.

            I'm happy everyone like it so far, I know not everyone like Necris maps, including me lol It was a big challenge but I like the final.

              PS3 version

              I've been informed that even if maps are using Titan pack assets, it can be cook for the PS3. Look like things as been changed so it's good for everyone

              I'm cocking the map ATM & following DG's tutorial, still, I don't have the console so before putting the PS3 version in the first post, I need PS3 testers.

              Take note that if the map is not running well on the console, I won't edit the map & change stuff around for the console version. So I hope that everything will play on the console

                Hi mate! Im glad you have finally published this map, what i said you? "Take your time" patience is an virtue lol.

                I tested yesterday at falling night your map and i can confirm it runs very fine for framerates xd, I like that well-made necris deco xd. I like the confusion "issue" via lighting use that compensate with that lots of z-axis to move and confuse your enemy plus compensate too very well the item placements.

                This design tactic for mapping Steve is similar to Sklare did with that map whose name i cant recall very fine ....mmm never mind. With a well choosen desing meshes and textures for the necris ( For what I saw a excessive overuse of those necris theme ) this map looks "different" lmao.

                PD: Im tracking your another wip map and the archi is interesting dude coming to look how it will become this future new map.

                PD: Isn't in the way another ctf map in those forums? I saw in your readme saying that. I would love to see that map in the future sometime. Your learning curve is slow but strong dude. Only it's not long see you create custom content along in the time dude. Time wiil say you!

                    He he, indeed, I always take my time mate, for some, it's very long lol It's the optimizations process fault lol

                    You know, I'm not a Necris fan so finding a meshing pathern by mixing all those assets together (Necris+LT+HU assets) but making the Necris stand out more without beign to much repetitive was very hard for me to do so.

                    I doubt I'll make any custom content by myself. It's already long to build something with existing stuff, I can't even imagine how long it would take me to do my own stuff. Anyway, I'm not interested to learn that today or in the future.

                    It's good to know that you have an eye on DM-Aly. But it won't be very detailed that time, I'll leave it simple. As for the CTF, it's on hold. I have ideas but not the motivation for a CTF at the moment. Maybe after Aly...

                          It hangs at the 100% unpacking screen... music still playing but no other response... sometimes these things do take awhile at this point but... not this long

                          Edit: Yep, doesn't work... sorry to have to say that.

                            How long is long ? I mean 1 min, 5 mins, 10 mins

                            It take ± 1 min to load on PC so for me waiting for more than 1 min start to be a long time. I don't know where to look at if something don't work since the cooking end with no issues

                              I let it try to do it for 5 minutes in the unpacking process once it hits 100%

                              it never did it... I had to hard boot my ps3. I decided when it asked me if I wanted to temporarily turn off the custom content, I tried leaving it on to see if it would work anyways... the main menu wouldn't load up... another hard boot later I let it turn off custom content, deleted DM-Nano from the list, then activated the content....


                              in theory it could have been a bad download... buuut if that was the case the rar would have probably not let me extract the file.

                                5 mins ****... that's long !

                                I'm afraid I can't do much about it, I'm reading posts ATM. The ""solution"" of the posts is to delete content until it fits in the console memory, this is ridiculous

                                I keep reading to see if I can come up with something, THX for letting me know
