      I don't use SLI m8 I think it my graphics card thats slowing it down I have problems with one other game.

        It may well be tied to W7, I haven't got a spare XP machine to verify. V-sync is disabled too. I noticed it exiting portals if that helps. But I understand it's very hard to track down when you cant reproduce these observations.

                Well that makes sense since the teleporters change the PP effects momentarily as you step through them and also since they use the 'screen capture' actor to preview their visible FOV they are actually resource heavy assets. & No problemo glad you like the map again man. Any specific reason why you don't use v-sync? it actually smooths everything out for me so i leave it enabled. (But i understand some don't use it - just curious why, its true it limits frames but the payoff for the pure smooth gameplay makes it the better option in my case)

                  Wow!

                  The map looks Amazing I love the way you have changed it the bricks in hall way look awesome, nice new tiles , The space area is so beautiful and I'm glad you switched it back from green grass to black turf looks more clean/nicer! I always liked the black more it seems like it fits the map more.

                  first time in UT3 I've seen a working light switch (button) and good job making the door move up and down rather than appearing and disappearing , noticed really cool mechanized deco such as that flame and one at end of halls.

                  I can't believe how awesome this is, spectacular compared to even your previous versions of this map! After playing it and looking through for 20 minutes without bots, I have decided this is my favourite map! looking forward to the upcoming projects!

                    Sorry for taking so long to try it out

                    Anyhow, love it. The layout is great, music fits perfectly and it looks great!

                    Some things that might have improved it even further, everything has a collision even all of the very small detail stuff which makes it hard to move across the map without getting stuck somewhere. Also, you seem to have changed some material settings for most of the stock meshes to make it look much darker. Dunno how to explain it good but about 50% of the maps meshes are very bright colored and the other 50% are well black, looks kinda wierd but I dunno :P

                      NiTro .. cool post!! - glad you like the map, yes i did polish some materials, & tweak the sky .. yes the darker feature of the field suits the map much better .. You noticed the different Redeemer door .. i also prefer having it lower and raise .. & especially having the AI use it! I really worked for adding details / deco that fit the theme of the map and made sense rather than throwing as many meshes as i could everywhere/at the map .. heh .. (awesome to hear this is one of your favs..) Thx dude!

                      Agreed! (especially about the collision issues) maybe i'll update it again at some point / possibly next football season? (dunno) On the meshes there are some custom / modified materials & some have a dedicated lighting channel also which darkens them up so that they aren't lit as much as everything else appears to be, while it might take some getting used to; much of this is obviously deliberate - though i can certainly still see your point, & as always i do appreciate your straightforward constructive feedback.

                        first i m srry: took me so long to try it....my old memory again...pills!

                        excellent job on all; new texturing is tip top! contrasts everywhere, lighting/darkness and colors...really eyecandy

                        the kizmet interaction; the sky new deco ;ur blue & red "lava" under the grids are superb; music & sounds are original and fun

                        i first thought that u was under contract with pepsi! haha and i discovered the coca side of the map; this kind of lil details gives a "true" looking to the place

                        the sniper spot is nicely balanced and i think i can camp there hours!

                        congratz for this new version; all is nicely done and this map is very representative of what mean "custom content" imo;thx for ur work my friend, anotha keeper one ;-)

                          Appreciate it bro! - thx for those excellent compliments, & thx for taking time to play/test the map and post back.

                          So it ran OK on your rig .. no crazy frame drops? (like CTF-Maelstrom?)

                          I thought you might say something if i only put the Pepsi in there so i figured i'd better ad the Coke on the other side, i almost slapped in an ATM machine, & a concession stand - but i figured i had to draw the line somewhere ..

                          Interestingly i was in such a mode to update the map for football season, i didn't put as much time into optimization as i could / should have .. Some ppl mention some slowdowns, so as i was preparing the version for the PS/3 cook & the BR conversion i arrived with a more polished version of 1.4 (hopefully no one falls out of the map through the floor into space) doh! (remember that?)

                          So i'll be making one last update for the season here shortly since I reworked some things for euchreplayer23 PS/3 & HO0815XX BR Conversion ..

                          Any minute someone will be along to tell me to stop updating the map since its final .. - its OK Frag will come in here and explain to them if they do.

                            héhé no more drop downs since i changed my 9800GTX x2/Sli for a GTX285 + 9800GTX for PhysX...was paste on 100FPS (the max limit FPS i ve set^^) all along the game ...cpu still a phenom II 940@3.5ghz and accord nicely with the new gfx
                            looks like you are a pure CTF-Football optimizer! ...lol

                                So is that a PS3 recook of v1.3, or is it the as-of-yet-unreleased v1.4? And is there a reason the name says 2k10 instead of 2k9 now?
