If ball runner was holding another weapon and scoring, first person weapon graphic is turned sideways after scoring.........
Where is the FileFront link to the maps? The previous posts in this thread mentioned one, but I can't find it in this thread. Would someone mind posting it?
I'm basically looking for a map pack with multiple BR maps or a place to download individual ones. I was thinking that the maps mentioned in the original post were now on FileFront, but that may not be true.
Our site went down and another one is being worked on but no eta for it. I will get some map packs up on filefront as a temporary solution. I'll try to get that for you sometime this weekend.
Yup things are pretty slow here and also in ut3 land in general, but we are still plugging away.
Though dev work is done, I am still open to doing bug fixes and other small things. Along those lines, one interesting thing that has come up is that someone has offered us a custom ball graphic, ie, Molosev. Remember that I had put out a request for people to make us custom graphics, so here we have someone who is fullfilling this need, so I will not refuse it, and his work is very good.
Because of many issues, we can't just change out existing scheme, but what we can do is offer this as a third theme, which I will call 'Pigskin'. This way, you can choose to use this graphic if you wish, or just stick with the standard and existing scheme. Note that we already have Standard and Necris themes, so we are just adding a new theme, which can be selected in the settings screen. Anyone using this theme will then need to be content with the issues that it will have such as lesser visibity of the ball runner (due to ball being in hands, and not having brite energy emmiters), incompatibility with 'orb' messages, and etc. It's a nice trade off actually and will work very very well.
When using this theme, ball will be seen to be carried in the hands, and there will be no ball launcher. Work of this nature is for most part a simple plugging in a new grpahcis and then just let the chips fall where they may.
If anyone else wishes to contribute graphics, I will be open to at least adding them as additional themes to the game.
Look like Relic is MIA for some time. Will the earlier BR maps work (v2.1) as is ..or do they need some work..plan to start a BR server ..sometime this weekend..
nm, just installed it from the link in your sig..and tested and it works good..the bots at masterful are impressive (good job)
Yea have not heard from him in a while, hope he's doing well. Yup 2.1 maps outta work ok in 3.x. All kinds of bot changes have occured since you were last here, you should find them worthy opponents and helpful allies . Of special note is the new Drop Orb command in the command menu, this is a very useful ut3 feature we take advantage of in br.
