Nice! This was one of my favorite maps to play way back in the PS2 UT. Ill try it out soon.

EDIT: Just tried it out. Nice remake, but it's missing some things. First is the sniper perch and rifle that used to hang above the entrance right inside the base. It was usually only accessed with the translocator.

The other area that's missing was right outside of the second floor base entrance near the rocket launcher. Across from these catwalks was a dark area that could be accessed with the translocator, and it contained health and ammo. Also, it would be nice if more of the ceilings were removed to make it more like the original.

Im suprised to see someone really knowing the map and knowing it that good as you seem to do. Your right that these high platforms is missing mainly couse I usually play instagib and then you cant reach those platforms. When I see that you really seem to like the map I could try to fix those things if you really miss them couse I thaught nobody would care but nice to see that someone does

That would be cool to have those areas back.

Also, I believe this map was exclusive to the PS2 and Dreamcast versions of UT, meaning you had to own one of those copies right? I'm curious if you remember the map DM-The Hood. That was also one of my favorite maps and it would be nice if it could be recreated in UT3.

Ok the map is updated with the sniper shelf in base and the hidden room outside base which only can be reached with translocators. I have also removed alot of the roof so its more open now. The download links are updated as well. Enjoy

To FlyRice: check out the remake CTF-Spirito which also were an exclusive ps2/dreamcast map http://forums.epicgames.com/showthread.php?t=619812

Awesome work Nidas! You really replicated this map close to perfection. I love the open sky. One last minor detail I noticed that's missing is a blue/red base symbol on the walls at the ends of the center catwalk between both bases, just to indicate which base you're heading towards. But other than that, good job

good remake of PS2 map, I think?

Hehe, the reason I say that is I've never played this map in any form until now. Looks like those changes were needed though to make it more like the original and better for standard weapons play. I thought the sky could be better, but maybe that's the way it was in the original UT map. The music fits the map also. Nice trim and tex/meshes, but too much gray and needs some color; although, it's obvious which way to go when you're in the center of the map. There's good z-axis and I like all the sniping spots in here. I'm also glad the red base has the flak cannon.........sort of. The gameplay is not bad, but I don't like that lip that you have to jump over just before turning the corner and entering the base areas. The bots are decent but could use some help defending (mine anyway).

Also, I tried a UT version of this map for PC, but it failed to launch. I also do not know the original PS2 author. What about the original authors for Spirito, Sundial, Hood and Coagulate?
