That's an understatement.
I think when we look back at Vista, we will consider it the worst OS next to Windows ME.
The only reason to get Vista is for DX10.
Other than that, it's a hog that is difficult to use. The built in security feathers will drive you nuts.

yeah but you can easily disable the extra security settings by going to user profiles in control panel...people who find vista hard to learn are just to lazy imo. It's fairly simple

I wont respond beyond this as we are way off topic. Your comment isn't accurate. Just turning off UAC wasn't what I was talking about. Vista assigns ownership to files that cannot be globally changed.

Hey Brad, is it possible, using ur cache converter, when you clear the cache to ONLY CLEAR the maps, and not mutators?

As far as I know, the cache converter does not work for mutators, so there is no point in clearing them.

I just want to make sure I specifically thank you, THANK YOU! for making this so user friendly! Even a frustrated blue collar bum like me can get this working and tweak his game to his little black heart's content!

I did have to check your forum topic on the subject of "can not open UTGame.ini"... a few times actually before it really dawned on me what directory I was supposed to be looking in. All these weeks I really thought everyone had a different directory install than me somehow, but now I know UT3 installs parts of the game off in another area of my documents and Settings directory separate from the base install in Program files.

TY TY TY for clearing this all up for me! Hopefully other ppl who are having the same confusion will actually read your post here.

And omg, custom crosshairs! I can't thank you enough! Now I can actually SEE the darned thing!

First of all, thankyou so much for this amazing tool !
I've found some minor bugs:

1- In the maps/muts installer section, clicking on the bottom buttons (open/install/delete) without having previously selected an item, or with the items list empty, a message box is raised with an "index out of bound" message. Maybe somewhere there is a try/catch block that handles the unmanaged SelectedIndex check.
2- The gore settings apparently hasn'got any effects on the game, and after saving/reopening the software, the setting is always on "no gore".
3- This is more a feature request than a bug: the window is resizable even if the inner controls (group boxes, input boxes, and so on) has fixed size. Since some lists/grids needs for much horizontal/vertical space, you maybe could anchor them to the window borders so they resize accordingly

The tweaker does not allow you to configure the bio rifle as for some odd reason the lines do not appear in the ini for it.

V5.0 of the tweaker does have a picture of the bio rifle, when in fact your editin g the instagib. by clicking the update button this bug is repaired.

**** so is there any chance you think you be able to make the bio rifle modible in the next release? Are we going to have to wait until Epic puts the lines in the ini? I am guessing that will be case.

thanks for the post. the next version is a bit neater with regards to it not resizing

with regards to one - thanks for pointing it out, there should be error handling there, but quite clearly ive missed it out. il make sure thats sorted in the next version

with regards to two - it does infact change the value, just the tweaker does not remember doing so. even if you relaunch the tweaker, save and close it wont actually turn off the gore again. you would actually have to tick, and then untick the gore box before saving to set it as default. this tool seems to work well for some, but not all. ( i wonder if its to do with the game version)
