This is a really fun map. It's a big open area with plenty of room to move, teleporters to move you to the other side of the map for quick access and the map is suitable for a few or many players. Using the Scorpion is lots of fun, and the slow field adds to the carnage. Theres even some Z axis action to boot.

Item placement is good, tough it never seems worth going on to the crates for thigh pads. I really like where you placed the Keg o' health, making it a rather risky move if your not the only one there. My only complaints is that the map doesen't quite feel finished. Since you can see below the Sky dome, their is a ghosting effect on all objects. You should add an Skybox or lower the dome. Also, the map just doesen't seem right without music, it's a fairly big map and with all that space to move around in it just isn't fitting that their isn't music to accompany you.

Still, it's a very fun map. I can easily recommend this to anyone looking for some crazy deathmatch fun.

Fun map ... not sure about the placement of some of the pickups like the shield belt and the Redeemer ... but it is a nice big map with lots of room for bragging and it does look pretty cool. I do think snow would have added a lot of atmosphere to the map as well as a few more items littered around (preferably items with some color ... maybe a mangled safety sign or blinking lights on a pole that says danger or even a different sky box with colorful Northern lights ... something more visual is what is comes down to). I like the portals actually ... I was worried about the flow but the way you use them they work well and you are never far from the action.

We need more big wide open maps like this for some insane TDM ... maybe next time add an open tunnel or bottom level and maybe put the armor belt down there ... you may also want to add a frozen pond that has a small bridge to cross over to get to the main building ... that seems like it would work nicely. Any I enjoy playing this map so thanks for taking the time to create it and share it with the community.

Not sure what you mean, but whenever I dl a zipped folder, I open it using 7z and choose what directory to extract it to.

isnt 7z a self extractor? ive never needed to d/l anything to open 7z files.

7zip is what most people use nowadays, I recommend it (its free) because it will also unzip .rar and .zip files.

I agree i use it too and it ' s my fav prog for zip file now ! it ' s totaly free so download it . Another great free prog for zip files is ALZIP .
