    Description: A mutator which will remove the player beacon in any gametype
    Features:
    • Disables player beacons (alias Tags) for every player
    • Disables Titan beacons
    • Disables Vehicle beacons
    • Disables Warfare Node beacons
    • Beacons can be disabled separately
    • Works with all stock game types and support for custom game types
    • Fully configurable
    • Configurable via ini file (config)
    • Configurable via UI scene (in mutator selection)
    • Configurable via WebAdmin
    • Full net support
    • Full compatibility to any mutators (like UTComp)
      * the Pawn class needs to derive from UTPawn
      (will work if the function 'DrawPlayerBeacon' is not modified that much)
    • No replacement of Pawn, PlayerController classes (or anything)
    • Works for instant action and online games
    • Spectator support (important for SpectatorUI mutator by WGH)

    Description:
    This mutator will remove the player beacons which are shown above a player's
    head. This beacons are also known as Tags. Pro players / duelers like to have
    this beacons off.

    This mutator also adds the ability to remove such beacons from team players as
    well. In addition you can remove the beacons of any vehicle in the game. This
    includes removing its healthbar. If you drive that vehicle the health bar on
    the lower right corner is still visible.

    This mutator also includes removing the beacons of Nodes in the Warfare gametype.
    With the default configuration, it will keep the special nodes called Key nodes.
    These are rendered throught the map even if the node is behind walls. But this
    mutator also removes these key node beacons if you are insight of it.

    With the default configuration, every beacon will be removed. The Orb beacon in
    the Warfare game type is kept and won't be hidden by this mutator.

    You can also enable the option to show the player named under the player's
    crosshair.

    Note:
    This mutator script file is made conform to the previous version. So you don't
    need to install older versions in order to view a recorded demo.

      So like I said in the other reply, this seems to work about 85% of the time and it does it's job really well. The only pattern that I can really see, and this is not all of the time, is that the beacon often times shows up when you're in close proximity of the other player.

          I've tested it in an offline game (Greed/GodMode), and I couldn't see this issue, or mean you online games?

            Yes I was talking about online play. It works most of the time, but it randomly fails without any real pattern.

                Mmh, why should i upload to filefront? It's only 6kB. Do you have download issues?

                @Mauz: Hmm, strange problem. I could not say why this is happening. Maybe i'll change the version to a "more-calculations-client-sided" version.
                I did many tests on this mutator and i never had any problems regarding the visible beacon on close proximity.

                  One thing I did notice, and this may be a different issue, is that when you zoom in on a player with the sniper scope the name pops up. Again this is online play. Hope this helps.

                    Added a new version. That version fixes some major bugs which caused the mutator not working correctly and the beacons were visible again. Now, it works well in combination with the TalkingIcon mutator.

                      There was a minor problem with that previous version. v0.3 would never work.

                      I updated the first post with v0.4.

                        Nice Mutator RattleSN4K3,

                        I'm currently using "WinDex No Tags Mutator" but the only problem I have is it doesn't work with the 3rd person mutator GearsCam. I just tried yours and it works fine.

                          Mutator is working almost perfectly on all gametypes!

                          Problem though. When hovering the cursor over a teammates name, the player name should appear as plain text below the crosshair. Your mutator is blocking this for teammates only. You can still see the player name of enemies.

                          Can you add an option in the mutator config file for "Show Enemy Name Below Crosshair" and "Show Team Name Below Crosshair"?

                          Otherwise, mutator is working GREAT!

                            Yeah. That's was exactly the idea of this mutator. Compatiblity to all mutators. WinDex replaces the Pawn class and this makes it incompatible to many many mutators.

                            @Neil:
                            Well, the name below the crosshair isn't a stock feature nor a thing i removed/add. UTComp does add that. I might add something so names are visible again.

                              If your mutator has all of the functionality of WinDex + more, I might just replace it with yours.
