    DM-Shrapnel [Featuring RazorBack UT music] [Beta 2 out]

    Name: DM-Shrapnel

    Version: 1.0 Beta

    Compatibility: UT3 with titan content

    Description: A few weeks construction, now I believe it's ready for testing. Please let me know if there's anything floating / out of place, or glitchy.

    Changes from beta 2 include:

    -Adjusted several static meshes

    -Randomized the weapon ammo

    -Took out invisibility, put shield belt at far end up upper deck

    -Changed bloom and color intensity slightly

    I'm surprise you build it so quickly !

      Looks good.

      UT99 had some of the best layouts and best music tracks of the series, nice to see more of these brought forward!

      This should be a good one, BBL with feedback.

          Good looking map.

          I'd remove the invis and add a amp there in it's place.

          A belt somewhere would be nice (or did I just miss it?).

            I didn't put a belt in. I'll probably do that in the next version and put a DD amp instead.

                    I can try it with out the mods running.

                    I have a few running which might be stuffing my game up a lot in manys ways

                    Nope still showing up with all mods and mutators removed.

                      Yeah that's bizarre, I ran through the map just now and there is no such invisible wall to where you are pointing. Can you at least tell me what mod you had in the previous screenshot with the sniper rifle? It looks awesome...

                          I just play it with 7 bots,

                          I do like the visuals very much & with the classic audio track it's **** nice

                          Sadly, I don't like the gameplay & I found a plethora of overlapping mesh all around the map. I don't understand how come you didn't saw them while it's so obvious. I mean, it's not your first map so I just don't get it. I take so much pics I'm to embarrassed to post them so I'll leave it.

                          For what I can suggest

                          - Get rid of the invisibility. You can replace it by the vest or move the tights there.

                          - Place something worthy like the belt or the keg in front of the link.

                          - Place some ammos at the opposite as the weapon base on other levels, not the same as the weapon base.

                            I don't know what you mean by "plethora of overlapping mesh" all around the map. The invisible wall thing is bugging me... it's not there when I play it... oh well. Can you just post an example of this "overlapping mesh" thing?

                              The invisible wall is not seen with all weapons. Most of the time, by usng the bio or stinger or link alternate fire you can see them. That is why I post the pic with the bio since it's more clear then the stinger.

                              Overlapping mesh is when your mesh are crossing each other so you can see them flickering. Most of the time it happen when your not on the grid & / or the mesh aren't scaled properly. This is an example :

                              I say a "plethora" because there is a mighty bunch of those everywhere. I took around 18 pics, most of them are obvious one like in this pic but there is many others so that is why I stopped.
