    [The Re-release of] VCTF-Coagulation {beta 2 out}

    Name: VCTF-Coagulation-RE

    Version: 1.2 beta

    Compatibility: Just UT3

    Description: It's back and better than ever. The re-release of Coagulation from halo 2. I brought this project back to life giving it a 2nd chance at a success. The last time this was released, it was a disaster.

    Comments: Please keep comments and critisism to gameplay / glitches only in this thread. Thank you.

    changes from beta 1.0 include:

    - Fixed some floating trees

    - Was unable to determine why the grass has weird visuals when up close

    - Added some contrast to the caves

    hey mate
    just tryed it and it s a good addaptation; some observations & questions:

    -u have two trees floating in the air in the middle of the map (blue side)
    -do u plane to add a flying vehicule and a tank?
    -i had weird visuals on the grass; no grass if u watch 20 meters before you and it appears when u approach
    -the cave is nice but it need perhaps more contrasts imo
    -on original u was abble to climb on the "mountain behind the bases and it was a nice spot for the sniping affairs...do u plane to add it or to keep it so?
    -a lot of red bots was paste around the red flag

    it s a pleasant map to play ; thx for ur work

      - I'll fix the trees, thanks
      - There is a flying vehicle located at the bottom of the bases just like the original coag
      - I did not experience such weird visuals for the grass really, what is your decal settings on?
      - I'll try to add more color contrast to the caves
      - Again, this is coagulation, not bloodgulch.
      - Bots are defending, you have to order them to take the flag, just like all CTF maps.

        yeah; srry i have only played halo1 and if i remember well the vehicle was on the platform;i have find it now ; bots have found it first time but i was concentred on the grass haha^^

        all decals setting are on but this appears only with texture details set on 3....and no more if set on 5

        lol! yes....and did u note i dint do any comparasion between urs & the original about visuals....but here i m talking about gameplay as u ask it....was just to point that this spot was impoortant to this map gameplay...nothing more

        here it s my fault ....my ctf settings was 18 vs 2 ....was a queue around the red flag haha^^ all fine now

          I'll have to figure out where the sniper spot was again - I don't have halo 2 for xbox so I'd have to find a map layout or have someone post a pic where it is.

                  Ok I tryed it out nice work just two things Grass and it disappears as well when 20m above it.

                  What the hell?


                  Blocking under the trees on the whole map.

                  Screeny 2.



                  Bot pathing is good but could be improved just suggestion.

                  Overall it's a nice Halo2 remake.

                    I'll look into that, thanks. And I'm pretty sure the grass is supposed to dissapear at a distance, just like war-torlan does.

                        Well perhaps I can increase it, without the frames dropping too much. If you have the grass visible at high altitudes or disances on the X or Y axis, then the frames will drop.
