    CTF-CityStreets [Pics][PC/PS3][Beta][Updated 5/18]

    Version: Beta

    Compatibility: PC/PS3, Newest patch

    Description: I've updated the map with more balanced and gameplay and a more balanced but asymmetrical layout. If you played the previous version, this setup is completely different. If you haven't, it's a city street theme using mostly the ASC and HU packs, with a few other meshes where needed.

    Comments: I'm think it should be fairly balanced and well laid out, but I can't test everything. I'm looking for comments on map flow, weapon placement, risk vs. reward of weapon placement, aesthetics, and any possible saddlepoints or exploits. Generally anything that I can improve upon.

    Oh, if you happen to check out the website, it's getting replaced by a flash version in a few days, I think the format of it right now isn't that great, but I needed to get it up quickly, so I just used a template.

            Hi :] Cool level. Good for quick matches.
            There are some problems though.

            I guess that since it's a beta version there is no point in telling you that it's a little bit empty. Hoping to see some more details in next version.

            I like to see some assymetry in CTF levels. It makes the level more realistic. Still you have to balance the item placement and such. On your map it feels like the blue team is in advantage. They have Mega health near and u-damage in sight.

            Some models are out of scale. Try to change that. It will look better.

            I understand the purpose of the rubble in the middle, but it looks kinda strange if you think about it. Where did it come from? Was there a building (in the middle of the street??)? Maybe you shoud place there a bulding? One that would be higher than both bases. Players shouldn't see the enemy flag from their base.

            Finally there are some problems with players' starting points. Some make you hit the wall, and most of them is too far from any weapon. There should be at least one few steps away.

            But don't worry, this level is really fun to play. Looking forward to see progress with this one :]

                  I fixed a few minor imbalances in regards to the roof of the large building on the corner, fixed a few minor lighting problems, added some sound effects to the machinery, and tweaked weapon placement.

                  Any comments?
