    Bowling - Reduced roadkill damage

    Bowling

Roadkill damage is reduced. A good hit will still kill people, but a glancing hit might only knock them down. Vehicles also feel a slight bump when running into people.

Update. See first post for download.

    Highlights:
    • Overhauled the way the game deals roadkill damage. Now takes relative speed into account.
    • Vehicles may feel a slight bump when ramming people.

This is awesome. I really like how infantry actually have a physical (albeit small) impact on vehicles, like they should. It's harder to roadkill people, but it's funnier when you do--it looks a heck of a lot more painful. Also, lots of neat stuff can happen (usually in favor of the infantry), like where a Hellbender might knock over someone but they slip underneath the vehicle right between its wheels. Granted, the driver will probably skymine the heck out of the downed guy, but it's a lot more interesting than the 1-touch KO of vanilla UT3.

You just single-handedly fixed my greatest issue with vehicles in this game... THANKS!

Ah, good, the Easter Bunny will appreciate this one.

Nice mutator, but it already exists

Its different, this takes speed into account, im sure that just means players only feign death.

Interesting, but not quite the same, judging from the description. My version makes roadkilling less ridiculously easy but by no means impossible.

I'd love to see how he did it, but the download is dead. Anyone have a copy of this?
