    No problem man. There was one more thing I forgot to mention. When you are at the rocket launcher weapon base and you walk up towards the ramp, the collision for the rock blocks the player, though it looks like they should be able to walk toward the edge.

    While this isn't a big issues, if you want to fix it, check out this thread for more info.

    i also made a remake of dm-ariza a few months ago, and i must say yours looks pretty good ,its a bit dark ,and you changed a few minor things with the layout\flow , but it looks good i really like the top of the gravity room, above the slime pit ,the way you've put ur meshes together is very professional\epic looking amazing work for a first map i say!

    I forgot to say, that was a part of the original map, DM-Ariza from Unreal1. I also didn't like it, and even if it's kinda "original-like", i will change it!

    Agreed!

    Anyways, here are my thoughts...

    1. The layout doesn't really suit my style of play as it's too flat and a bit oversized in some places, ohhh well.

    2. The map needs some work in the optimization department.

    2a. You need to "erase" as much terrain as possible by using the visibility tool, this should help out a lot.

    2b. For the rocks, try to use as many rocks that only display half of it. Right now, your map is rendering all of this polys that will never be seen. Add in the fact that there are these big open spaces and that doesn't help the player's FPS.

    3. There are lot of sufaces that don't have the proper foot step sounds. I looked at your map in the editor and you using a lot of blocking volumes for static meshes that have a collision box associated with them. Blocking volumes will always have the same "default" sound.

    4. The area with the bio sludge on the floor (with the keg of health right above it) is a bit odd.

    a. It's not worth it to get the bio ammo by walking through the bio sludge (as the player will want to jump, but that just pulls them into the air).

    b. The sludge doesn't do as much damage as you think it should considering what you are touching. To me, it should do much more (10 points per second).

    c. I like how it takes so effort to get the keg of health. But once you reach the top and head down the hallways, you run into the shield belt.

    d. It's also unclear which one of the "teleporter" bases are the one you go into and the one you come out of.

    5. For some reason, the mesh you are using for some of your floors (StaticMesh'DM-Beriza_beta4.Mesh.light_01'), doesn't look right. Maybe it it it didn't protrude as much?

    6. I don't think it's a good idea to have too many of the same ammo near a weapon pickup (you have four link ammo near the same weapon base). I think it's a good idea to have one that matches and one that doesn't. This way, you make the player travel your entire map to stay well armed.

    Over all, the map looks very nice and has a cool atmosphere. The biggest issue for me, that can be changed at this point, is the optimization. Good luck in finishing it.

    Hello! I just made this map, It's my first UT3 map and i could need some help. I have no idea about UT3 gameplay and this is a remake of an old unreal map DM-Ariza. I would appreciate any help. thank you in advance and sorry for my bad english!
