I just need to figure out a way to convert it from the cooked version to an uncooked, so it doesn't crash when I open it again. I guess saving the cooked version doesn't work.

Just wandered, if you copy-paste everything from the map in a new file, it supposed to work ? Maybe some little thing will still be needed but at least, you don't need to start from the ground up ?

Don't know if it would work correctly, it's just a noob mapper thought

That might work for just the BSP, I will attempt to put all of the "mylevel" materials into an external package so that way I can slap them onto the surfaces.
