    DM-MarioKart-SNES-BattleCourse2 [Pics] [BETA]

    I DO NOT HAVE UPDATED SCREENSHOTS FOR THE MAP.. WILL ADD THEM LATER!

    Long time no see.. if you remember me.
    I used to be "The Big Bad Wolf" or "Legacy-TheBigBadWolf" on these forums..
    Made the Super Mario Mario, Samus, Master Shaker, Frylock, Mr. Toilet, Brian Griffin models and more for UT2004.
    So I'm finally back.. It is the summer. I have time to map some cool stuff and explore the editor more.
    Anyway.. here is the current map I am working on.

    1. Name: Battle Course 2 - Super Mario Kart
    2. Version: 1.0 / BETA
    3. Compatibility: PC - Latest UT3 Patch
    4. Description:Recreation of Battle Course 2 from Nintendo's Super Mario Kart game on the SNES.
    5. Comments: Worked on it all day May 16th 2008 after playing Mario Kart Wii.. lol
    Currently Includes Custom: Materials, Meshes, and music
    To Do Next: Beta Testing

    juhu i m the first who tells somthing.
    also, i like your idea, so far so good man. i also like your water.
    my tipps are:
    1.) try to add more mario-stuff, e.g. peach-castle
    2.) more meshes
    3.) to confuse the players and too change the gameplay, try to add the ?-cubes, which has everytime another weapon. that were cool. so you dont know which weapon you get now.

      1.)Mario Pipes.. Maybe Daisy's cruise ship? Peaches Plane?
      2.)Agreed.
      3.)Like that idea.. and making is should be fairly easy!

              I'll probably have 2 versions. One a classic which prevents going past the blocks and another which allows you to go to the islands.

                      Combine this with a racing mod please.

                      or a hoverboard-racing mod.

                        I tried it. I felt the scaling needed to go up a bit. Maybe just high enough so you can see other players heads.

                        Also noticed that shock combos don't detonate between the block walls.


                        It's a fun throw back. Keep up the good work.
