Did you make sure that you paint your weights?

Weight Painting short, easy version: Weight is "painted" onto the vertexes with a tool in the 3D application (Blender) and controls how much influence bones have on each point. If there is either no weight on them or you miss any points that make up the model, you'll get weird artifacts like the above pic.

Just google "Blender weight painting" I am sure there are more than a few tutorials floating around.

Weight painting is the same as using the skin modifier in max.

by use the skin modifier do u mean just apply it then everything will work fine ... because i like easy fixes?

Probably... In Geo's tutorial it says to skin it to Bone_Weapon and Bone_Flash which you'll most likely have to create yourself because they're not in Epic's scene.
I think only the tip of the weapon should be rigged to Bone_Flash because that's where the MuzzleFlashSocket goes and the rest to Bone_Weapon and make sure no vetices are left out.
But isn't that what you did before with your other weaps?
