    Flag Carry 1.1

    Name: Flag Carry
    Version: 1.1 (Beta)
    Compatibility: UT3 1.1, PC vCTF + CTF
    Credits: me and the cat overheating my CRT.
    Description:
    Forces players to carry their own teams flag back to base.
    Flag returners location revealed on map to enemy team.
    Length of time they can hold it before it returns configurable.

    Comments:
    Tested on LAN based listen and dedicated servers.
    Hold duration and offhand option configurable through GUI / .ini.
    BotAI updated to handle change and are decent at it too.

    Bugs:
    • Takes author a while to eat steak.

    Installation: Extract to "My Documents\My Games\Unreal Tournament 3\UTGame".

    Second version.
    * Tweaked flag positions.
    * Fixed two red flags with offhand carry off bug.

    Due to popular demand (ie. people who don't use 7-zip) I've changed the download to a .zip file.

    Feedback, suggestions, praise and power beyond imagining appreciated.

      Its more an aesthetic problem then a serious issue. Same with the placement. Been toying with both, but I've already taken my sweet time uploading it, so I figured it could wait.

              Found and fixed.
              Awfully minor copy'n'paste mistake on my part.
              If you couldn't tell, most testing was done with the 'offhand' setting on, which has red and blue flags, as apposed to red and, err, red flags....

              As for making off-hand for other weapons... possible, but the point was to make it a harder to do single flag caps etc.

                Love the idea, but I think it'd be cool to make it configurable what weapons could be held in the other hand-

                      I just tried downloading it at home. (tried at work before...see my last post) Same problem at home, and i have winrar on both pc's. So it can't just be me.

                        No clue.
                        It was compressed with 7-zip.
                        Are you able to give that a try?

                          I was able to extract the file with 7-zip but none of the other programs I use would do it.

                          Noticed when offhand is not selected the flags at the bases are still confused. Red base has red flag, but so does the blue base, after a few drops and carries (think it also happened with offhand selected).

                          I Have to say that this mutator is terrific fun! Having to chase down your captured flag and then CARRY it back to base makes it a WHOLE lot more fun (and watching in spectator mode would have to be great). I have to wonder why I never saw something like this before? Please keep up the good work!
