I'll probably do some alternate link setups for the final version. Just wanted people to get a feel and opinion for the map right now. I did try the axon vehicles for this, but I felt the necris vehicles suited it more.

Everything seemed to be ok with the ps3 version minus the black bars shooting out of some vehicles. But that seems to be a problem with the cooker in general since most ps3 cooks with vehicles do so. The flow of the map worked pretty well and I liked the base under the bridge. The one side path that didnt have much except a spawn point and a turret, and maybe a vehicle i forget, seemed a little off but that could just be me.

Yeah, it works properly and it's a very professional looking map. Works perfectly as a warfare map and everything, one of the best maps I've seen converted to the PS3.
I guess I owe you an apology. I really didn't think you'd be making any maps for the PS3, and you've proven me wrong by cooking this map for the community. I realize you didn't do it for me or for anyone who doubted you... I don't expect to be forgiven for my actions, or anyone for that matter who might have offended you. Just know I eat my words and I'll put aside my pride to admit how foolish and childish my posts might have been. Continue doing what you love to do, and I won't question your direction again. You clearly know what you're doing and I hope you get far with all your polished projects on this board.
I'll stick up for you if you're ever treated that way by anyone again. I'll glady show you the respect you deserve.
Ahem, back to the map itself... I noticed you somehow got the vipers to fire regular shots instead of those black jack-looking things... At least for a while. I noticed when a lot was going on, the black jacks made a return... I wonder what triggers them... I'm sure an update to the actual UT3 game for the PS3 would fix the problem though.

Hey no worries, it's all water under the bridge. The only reason I never cooked timberland for PS3 was because I just didn't wanna risk getting in trouble with microsoft / bungie. Anyways, it's cool. Yeah, for me the black-jack (or ricochet shots?) always appear. So it might be a PS3 thing, who knows.

Very cool map man,tested it out everything works fine I really like the layout the only that is strange is the black bars shooting out when you use a vehicle but that seems to be a problem with the PS3 cooker program that hopefully gets patched.
P.S.-wow I didnt think you were making PS3 maps I was wrong but hey its never to late to release that halo map lol One was already made and the author didnt get no backlash...anyway keep up the great work!

OK so I just tried out the map with 7 bots set to Experienced difficulty (PS3 version). I really like the map and the bots did not mess about. At one point they were raping my team with Vipers lol. The Viper and Turrets shot those "black jacks" but I am guessing this will be fixed in future versions. I like the idea of Turrets stationed between some of the nodes, great way to play defense. I think the trees you have scattered throughout the map really add a lot of character and I would not mind if there were more of them. The "verticality" of the map is great. I like the idea of both bases being at the top with the center node at the bottom of the valley and having to fight your way up to the enemy core. I was using Gibalicious and the framerate was consistent throughout. BTW, when I would kill someone at the the top of a hill his body parts would roll all the way down to the center lol. Very cool and I don't think I have seen this on any other map. One question about the East and West Nodes. Do they have a specific purpose or just lend the team that captures them an alternate route of attack/defense? Once again, great map, definitely a keeper and looking forward to the final version. I appreciate your efforts and the PS3 cook.

And that author made it clear that he didn't use ANY assets from Halo itself all his map materials are from Epic ... that is not the case with this map as you can see by the ring which is from Halo the game and so is the BloodGulch base and Ring. So come on stop asking about them even jokingly.
BTW Thanks for the fine remake ... its nice having a PS3 version since there are only a handful of WAR maps anyway ... nice of you to spread your mapping skills around sir.
