    UT3 Ripper/Razorbomb, 99% complete [Pics, No Download]

    Hey there! After a bit of work, plus the use of Daedalus/Mode's Razorbomb model (from our FHI mod), we've got a Ripper! I thought I would post some progress shots...

    The weapon is pretty much 99% done - it's not a carbon copy of UT1's Ripper. The damage/speed values are different, to keep pace with the other weapons. You can slice players' heads off, and pin their bodies to walls (sometimes to ceilings by accident). Secondary fire is a payload bomb that actually works quite well in terms of balance, and it uses a custom ammo mesh as well. Anyway, pics!

    I also coded up a Razorbomb edition for the "overkill" version of the weapon! It's basically the Flak Cannon on steroids but with the Ripper projectiles:

    I would still like to see a higher polygon version for UT3, but it's better than nothing.

                    Well, at the moment, you can do two things:

                    1. Run the Ripper mutator and have it replace the Flak Cannon (with custom ammo as well)

                    2. Use the console command "giveweapon ripper.utweap_ripper"

                    The problem is that you can't rely on Epic's Weapon Replacement Mutator because (and this is stupid) it doesn't replace the ammo! You can configure a custom weapon to replace a normal one (through the config menu), but if you want to replace the ammo you have to edit the .ini file - nice one Epic...

                    Daedalus/Mode is cool with the model being re-used, so there should be a download very soon! I've just got to work out a couple of kinks and it'll be ready.
