    I'm not sure whether it's the damage rate for Plasma skulls that is the problem or not. They seem to lock on to you and stay locked like never before. Much more than, say, the Laser Mice and mech spiders and such with their beams.

    You could just lower their damage. But unfortunately fire rate modify doesn't work at all (at least for me), I tried it with mech spiders, golems, etc. and no sign of a fire rate change.

    Any monsters using "fire" seem to have a slow rate now. On the other hand, I think the Plasma skulls (since v021) have become a bit too powerful.

    From my expieraments it seems to have everything to do with multi core vs single and appears to be a bug, 1 that I have reported.

    Basicly I built a map to test this. and wont bother you with all the details but the evidence suggests that some one with a multicore proc does more damage and/or takes less then some1 with a single, be it a 64 bit or 32 bit.

    I actually get good fairly good fps with my 4 gigs of ram and 7950 512mb OTC. I just get killed REAL easy.

    ... side note: mad props to my ancestral homeland. (yeah I new you were in germany, I think I first noticed when I commented about the 'disturbing' thong on your rabbits).

    I'm unable to get the FireRateModify to work. I tried it on biogolem and firegolem so far, tried all kind of values with both override and multiply; nothing changes. :-/

    And the firegolem has a very low rate of fire all of a sudden, I think he fires with the same rate as the other golems now. (this happens with or without the firerate modify)
