How is your end of match/game event set up? I think ideally you should want a generic "End Match" event that is normally called after wave 16, but can be configured to occur after a number of waves (or not at all -- in those cases an end match event would be triggered by a map trigger instead).
It'd also be nice to have built-in triggers that happen on every wave so that mappers can hook into that and trigger events to happen on a wave basis.

Yes, that is the primary goal. This first part of development I am working on getting it 'up and running' and fixing the major bugs. The secondary goal is to include most of the popular options that were part of Monster Manager / Wave Manager mutators. Some of this is already built in. I am, of course, also willing to consider adding features that were not in the original Invasion gametype. But, I need to know what you want/need. Specifically.

I think a big thing everyone is wanting are monsters that are not holding regular guns. If some could do melee damage without a gun it would help a lot of people jump on board. Think of something as simple as the papue, manta, or razor fly. Stepping it up a notch, the gasbags and brutes had projectiles, but still not regular weapons. If you can lay the groundwork for others to "add on" monsters that do this, I'm sure a lot of people would help with the monster collection. There's a thread on a new nali war cow...would be fun to see that end up added on top of your mod.

I'd like to see Team Vs. Team Invasion. Game would be won by last team to survive, or by highest score after X number of waves have been completed. This would be AWESOME at 32 players with multiple teams.
An additional idea perhaps for a mutator later on would be to use warfare maps and one orb would spawn every wave. The teams would fight over the orb and run it to a node to get vehicles to aid them. After the wave is finished the node would self destruct and you'd repeat the process so each team would have a chance at the beginning of each wave to get vehicles and extra weapon lockers.
In any case thanks a million for getting the ball rolling. I can't wait to try it out once I get some things settled and play UT3 again.

I exported the script and am taking a look at it now -- I've got a pack of about 10 monsters that I was going to release for UT2K4, but am probably going to port to UT3 instead.
I'm hoping the base Monster /AI classes here will be close enough that the code won't require a complete rewrite. After that, I'll need to figure out how to get the models into the game. I'm a bit curious about how character customization is going to affect one-piece monsters -- Hopefully I don't have to cut them up into pieces to get them to work.
