Galtanor's Invasion [Beta][Pics][Updated 10/26/2008][v022][Patch 1.3]

    I'm using BiaVote and that code hasn't been changed in forever. Tried a fresh copy of UTGaltanorsInvasion.ini to no avail. Removed UT3Fixer_BRPG. No go. Removed BattleRPG. No change there either.

    One thing I noticed when all were dead and I hit Home to pull up BiaVote was the "Time Remaining" wasn't counting down. Maybe there's a clue there. (I did a test by changing the gametype to deathmatch and the Time Remaining worked fine.)

      Can you either post or send me a copy of our INI? Everthing you mention sounds exactly the same. (scorpion at ur.clanservers.com)

          Try changing the bWaitForNetPlayers to "False".

            Thanks, but that does nothing to solve the issue. I've tried starting with a fresh UTGame.ini as well, also to no avail.

                I'm having issues with BiaVote, UT3Fixer_BRPG, BattleRPG and "Beester" rifles. I know it's not UT3Fixer related because I started having issues before the mod was even released. After I installed version 12 strange happenings began and random server crashes started. I grew frustrated and switched the server back to BTA. I recently tried again with the release of UT3Fixer_BRPG, but either the server crashes with no errors, or my Beester rifles don't show up in the server half the time.

                I did notice these errors today, not sure if they can help or not.

                    I do not add any dynamic lights to the monsters, so what ever there is the default.

                    I have downloaded BiaVote and will test it this weekend. It does not appear to be in active development tho. Hopefully it will be a quick fix.

                    Unfortunately, the errors do not appear to be from my gametype.

                    Work is taking longer on the next version then I anticipated (mostly testing everying). The new set of monsters seem to be completed at the moment. So right now its more testing and clean up before release.

                      Dont trust biavote, its buggy, messed up stuff when we played warfare like items spawning at different times and ghost weapons appearing that when you try to collect you cant pick up. So if something is not working right disable other muts on the server so you can rule out buggy muts.

                      Any chance of a 013 release this sunday?

                          I know it's got some bugs (never saw your type of issues when I ran Warfare with it though), but BiaVote worked just fine and dandy on every Invasion version prior to 012.

                                opps my mistake, just realised it was ABT mutator (needed for pause) that caused the bugs in warfare, biavote is fine.
